What is Cabaret Decadance?
Cabaret Decadance is a vaudeville revue with pantomime dancers and harmonizing vocalists backed by a band of gypsy jazz heretics. Led by creatrix and raconteur Clare de Lune, the troupe romps through tightly integrated song & dance in a slap-stick style.
In 1997, Cabaret Decadance began roaming the land between the Mississippi and Ohio rivers (aka: Little Egypt). Against all odds, they performed at many regional venues to enthusiastic audiences. In 2012 the Decadancers began performing at the Historic Liberty Theater in Murphysboro, Illinois, where they have finally found an ideal home for their old-fashioned stage show. |
